Superintendence of Ports and Transport: a control and monitoring System
A comprehensive project that optimises the management and oversight of Vehicle Diagnostic Centres (CDA) in Colombia
We developed and implemented the Control and Monitoring System (SICOV), a comprehensive project for the Superintendence of Ports and Transport that optimises the management and oversight of Vehicle Diagnostic Centres (CDA) across Colombia. The system ensures traceability, transparency, and regulatory compliance in the vehicle technical–mechanical inspection process, strengthening institutional governance and improving operational efficiency. With real-time monitoring and automated analysis, it promotes safe and reliable mobility for millions of citizens.
The Superintendence of Ports and Transport is the entity responsible for supervising and regulating the operation of Vehicle Diagnostic Centres in Colombia, with the aim of ensuring road safety and regulatory compliance. The SICOV project, deployed nationwide, reflects the local relevance of the case and the need for advanced technological solutions to optimise the oversight of technical–mechanical inspections.
