Driving continuous digital healthcare in one of Chile’s most important public hospitals

Hospital La Florida, one of the first two public hospitals built under Chile’s concession model, was inaugurated in 2013 to serve more than 400,000 residents in the south-eastern area of Santiago. From the outset, there was a need to implement a robust and reliable Hospital Information System (HIS), aligned with its modern and efficient care model.

A challenge of continuity and trust

The objective was clear: to guarantee the uninterrupted digital operation of the clinical and administrative management systems developed by Minsait. These systems, essential for medical care and hospital management, required ongoing professional support, high availability, and scalability to accompany the hospital’s growth.

A long-term relationship built on results

Since 2013, our team has provided support services across all three levels (1, 2, and 3), ensuring operational continuity of the HIS through the Health Network platform. This included:

  • Continuous support for all clinical and administrative modules
  • Technical guidance for medical and administrative staff
  • Technological evolution of the system in line with new public health requirements
