Who we are
From the Ideas for Democracy platform of Minsait (an Indra Company), we want to establish a space for ideation, reflection and collaboration, a space where electoral processes are analysed from a technical and technological perspective, where the digital transformation of these processes is studied and where the trends, challenges and new electoral challenges faced by governments and authorities in the Age of Digital Technology are reviewed. Welcome.
It has never been so exciting to talk about freedom as it is now. I mean freedom in the sense of free will (or free choice). That is, freedom as the belief that people have the power to choose and make their own decisions.
And it is exciting because today's individual has experienced, in the last twenty years, a remarkable number of changes in the fundamental aspects of his or her organised reality. These structural changes - originating or resulting from crises and evolutions - have modified society in a way that has never been witnessed before. Never before have changes affected such a large number of people so profoundly, so rapidly and so relentlessly.
These changes in recent history have not only modified the shape of society, but have also substantially modified the ideas and behaviour of citizens. The citizens themselves have changed, evolving into a new citizen.
We introduce you to our authors, among whom you will find Minsait experts and contributors from the electoral world. Through their proven experience and digital vision, they make a difference in the construction of the new democracy.
