For yet another year, The World Justice Project, an independent, multidisciplinary organisation that works to build knowledge, raise awareness and stimulate action to advance the rule of law around the world, has published the Index measuring people's perceptions and experiences of the rule of law in their countries.

In order to carry out the study, the World Justice Project established a conceptual framework of 8 factors that are broken down into 44 sub-factors:

The study shows how the rule of law has weakened in 61% of the countries, with the elements that have weakened the most being the Limitation of Government Powers and Respect for Fundamental Rights.

The figures describe how the rule of law has evolved, dividing the information according to the region of the planet in which the countries are located and the amount of income they have. At the end, the evolution of the different factors of the Conceptual Framework is detailed.

A study is also made of the global trend over the last five years, in which it is observed that the evolution of the Rule of Law is unfavourable in most countries, highlighting the slight improvement after the pandemic, as the factors have fallen less than in the period of the pandemic.

To obtain a more complete and detailed view of the analysis of the Rule of Law Index according to the World Justice Project study, a full article has been produced detailing the state of the different factors and the figures reflected, which can be consulted at the following link
