FOCAE: Forum for Opportunities and Collaboration Africa - Spain

An interesting meeting that was attended by representatives from more than 20 African countries, together with entrepreneurs, benchmark companies and Spanish authorities, in an interest in strengthening ties between the two territories. At this event we had the opportunity to share Minsait's experience on the continent, where we began our journey in Kenya in 1995 and, from the Indra Group, we have experience in 49 of the 54 countries that make up the African continent in sectors as varied as Energy, Water, Public Administration and Security.

After this long period of collaboration with the African continent, we have witnessed its development, with the commitment to international investment gaining more and more relevance, thanks to a favorable demographic evolution, a commitment to strengthening institutions and the good performance of the main economic indicators, which have allowed us to define a development strategy in each of these countries. In this environment, digital transformation becomes a lever that can help to consolidate this development, to promote policies in social, educational, health and legal areas and to develop economic sectors such as agriculture or tourism, enabling a more inclusive, sustainable and secure economy.
