Justice 2030, the Ministry of Justice's plan to consolidate citizens' rights and guarantees, promote greater efficiency in the public justice service and guarantee access to justice throughout the country, places digital transformation as one of its central axes.

Within this plan, data-driven justice offers us a new model that provides relevant information for decision-making, coming from a wide range of actors. Thus, by fostering relationships both within and outside the Justice system, and promoting consensus and joint efforts, co-governance is presented as the main decision-making method and the fundamental pillar of Justice 2030.

In other words, the incorporation of data analytics in the field of Justice allows us to know and understand the needs of citizens and society as a whole from the first phase of the public policy cycle, thus designing the most appropriate responses for each territory, anticipating the demands and priorities of citizens in the different territorial spheres.

And all of this will allow us to make better decisions, thanks to the correct use of data and relying on all the private and public agents within our reach, and to implement public policies that are fully aligned with the needs of citizens and that allow us to affirm that we are providing an innovative and quality public service.

Data is one of the most valuable resources in today's societies, and is destined to play a decisive role in the way in which we, as institutions, provide public services, and through data-driven justice we have laid the first stone to innovate hand in hand with them.
