The Master in Parliamentary Law, Elections and Legislative studies is a result from the cooperation between the Department of Constitutional Law of the Law School of the UCM, and the Institute of Parliamentary Law, which results from an agreement of cooperation between the UCM and the Spanish Congress of Deputies.

This postgraduate program offers and advanced and specialized training in three main multidisciplinary areas: Parliamentary Law, Elections and Legislative Studies. Furthermore, it is directly related to the professional activity and is of great interest for the pursuing of a professional career, given the great number of multilevel governments and territorial assemblies in Europe and Latin America.  Professionals from these institutions emphasize the need to educate lawyers for matters of consultancy and public roles in the parliamentary, electoral and governmental areas.

It is an official title, subjected to public verification programs, and gives access to PhD programs. The teaching body is formed exclusively by PhD holders with extensive professional and academic experience: 11 professors with years of research experience, Legal Advisers to the Courts and Legal Advisers to the Constitutional Court.
