Carolina Laverde

Advisor to the Vice Ministry of Digital Transformation of Colombia.

Laverde is a lawyer with a specialization in commercial law from the Universidad Pontificia Bolivariana in Medellín and a postgraduate degree in International Relations and Diplomacy from which she graduated with honors in London.

Prior to her appointment as Advisor to the Vice Ministry of Digital Transformation, Laverde served as CEO and Co-Founder of Moonblock (a company that designs tools based on artificial intelligence for traders and investors), and previously as director of a think and do tank (MA&T) located in Medellin, which prepares territories for the future from 3 strategic axes: education, business and governance.

For more than 18 years, Carolina worked in different public positions, participating in the transformation of her own city, Medellin (Colombia), actively helping this city to go from being the most violent city in the world to the most innovative city in the world.

Carolina has stood out as a serial entrepreneur thanks to her strategic business vision and is considered a connector, as her networking skills are one of her main assets.
